From the World’s Gems to Salerno’s Jewellery
A journey into the world of traditional Italian jewellery, from the origins of goldsmithing to the discovery of precious gemstones and their provenance. Through gemological analysis and artisanal techniques, participants will discover the secrets of hard stones and create a personalised bracelet with different shapes and colours.
The activity can be customised according to budget and duration requirements. Suitable for families, individual visitors and couples.

Programme
- Welcome at the goldsmith’s workshop;
- Introduction to the world of traditional Italian jewellery;
- Exploration of the origins of precious gemstones, their source and provenance through the use of a gemological microscope;
- Design of a jewellery piece through a freehand sketch;
- Creation of a bracelet using hard stones in different shapes and colours;
- Final toast and tasting of traditional local products.

Master Goldsmith, Gemologist and Stone Setter
After a period of training and professional experience at Borgo Orefice, Luigi Truono developed his expertise in Geneva and Rivello before returning to his hometown of Salerno, where he has been working for decades in his own workshop, registered under his brand since 1991.
The workshop opens the doors to the world of jewellery and gemstones, combining goldsmithing tradition, gemological expertise and artisanal craftsmanship.
