The Olive Oil Route
Designed as a true experience, this route was created to showcase the most beautiful and historic part of the village of San Mauro Cilento, retracing the olive oil heritage linked to the ancient buildings that you will encounter along this visit organised by the Cooperativa Agricola Nuovo Cilento.Deeply rooted in this territory, the culture of olive milling will surprise you with the presence of numerous olive presses preserved in the basements of private homes.
Part of the visit includes a stop at the Museum of the Ancient Mascherata and the Eleusa Museum, an opportunity to discover closely the oldest traditions still deeply felt by the local community today.
